Program Technical Support Specialist position (full-time, standard business hours)

Piestar is seeking a full-time Program Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

Piestar provides software for collaborative research programs at universities worldwide. The successful candidate will work closely with these programs to provide technical support and ensure overall client success with our software and service.

Program Support Specialist duties:

  • Develop strong relationships with supported program personnel
  • Provide fast and reliable technical support via phone and email
  • Attend client meetings and conferences as designated
  • Enhance Piestar training and support materials

Desired qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information well with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in technical writing
  • Ability to work in diverse and changing environments
  • Ability to travel and train clientele
  • Experience providing technical support for a web-based system
  • Experience in software testing and quality assurance
  • University research environment familiarity would be beneficial

Other requirements:

  • One year of customer service or technical support experience

Market Research Analyst summer internship position (part-time)

Piestar is seeking a part-time Market Research Analyst to join our team and work 15-30 hours per week this summer.

The ideal candidate for this position is a K-State student with a passion for research and business development.

Piestar offers a fast-paced environment to improve every aspect of a professional career. Market Research Analyst interns work alongside our experienced web developers and business development team to quickly learn industry best practices.

Our Market Research Analyst interns:

  • Research and gather data to help Piestar market its systems and services.
  • Monitor and forecast marketing and SaaS sales trends.
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies.
  • Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data.
  • Gather data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and reports.
  • Prepare reports and present results to management.
  • Provide service and support to research teams.
  • Combine professional development with real-world experience.
